(formerly sin1 = sinapoyl ester accumulation) altered phenylpropanoid metabolism; reduced sinapoyl malate, syringyl lignin and sinpoyl choline, probably due to lack of conversion of ferulate to 5-hydroxyferulate; may be sensitive to UV-B radiation.
